 Post subject: Spam Words with Yahoo

I'm not sure if this is just myth within SEO, but does Yahoo filter out websites which use spam words within their webpage text? If so, how does Yahoo define the spam words? Is it purely based upon keyword density and keyword prominence values? If these values are too high will Yahoo ban your website from the search engines? Or could it be that it is based upon a predefined list of keywords and phrases. I'm a little new to this game so bare with me.
