After reading a few articles I understand that MySQL is the preferred technology to use with PHP. Does anyone know of any good websites which provide tutorials on programming MySQL with PHP? I come from a Windows development background so web development is quite new to me. I'm familiar with the normalisation process of designing a database, i'm more looking for articles towards accessing a MySQL database with PHP.
